The architectural decoration art of traditional residential buildings in the north and south of Shandong,Qilu,presents different style characteristics due to geographical location,climate conditions,historical and cultural factors.The design of architectural decoration patterns also shows different artistic features.This article studies the similarities and differences in the design of decorative patterns between the Mou's Manor and the Confucian Temple,and explores the differences in decorative themes,colors,and techniques between the two.Mou's Manor is influenced by Taoist culture and emphasizes ethical education.Its decorative colors are mainly black and blue,and its craftsmanship is unique;confucian temples,on the other hand,are influenced by Confucian culture and are decorated with themes that worship the dragon faith.The colors are mainly red and yellow,and the craftsmanship is delicate.The two reflect the cultural differences between the north and south regions of Shandong and the artistic charm of diverse coexistence.
