From the perspective of"intangible cultural heritage",Xiangxi Miao costume handicraft is a unique form of Miao culture and art expression,and has profound cultural connotation,which belongs to one of the symbols of national revitalization.However,under the influence of modern culture,due to the change of the public aesthetic,the inheritance of the handicraft skills of the Miao nationality in western Hunan has encountered a bottleneck.Based on this,in the light of practical considerations,in order to enhance the adaptability of the handicraft skills of the Miao people in western Hunan,this paper first briefly analyzes the classification and characteristics of the handicraft skills of the Miao people in western Hunan,puts forward the inheritance of the handicraft skills of the Miao people in western Hunan from the perspective of"intangible heritage",and starts with innovative measures to promote the spread of the Miao people's culture.The handicraft skills of Xiangxi Miao nationality dress can be passed on smoothly in the new era.
