As a local intangible cultural heritage,dialect is the"living fossil"of cultural inheritance,but the frequency of dialect use is gradually decreasing.This project discusses the visualization of Ningxia dialect from the perspective of visual design,integrates the culture,language and characters of Ningxia dialect into the design,explores the language and artistic expression forms represented by dialect,promotes the dissemination of Ningxia dialect in the culture,and enriches the theoretical system of Ningxia dialect.Combined with the development trend of contemporary design,according to the aesthetic characteristics of The Times,explore the design style rich in cultural heritage,combine dialect with visual image significantly,carry out the visual research of Ningxia dialect,and popularize dialect in a unique and interesting way.
