In the context of digital new media,short videos have unique value as a new carrier of cultural dissemination in rural revitalization.This article analyzes the application value of art and design elements in short videos,revealing how to enhance the dissemination and influence of rural short videos through visual aesthetics,auditory experience,and storytelling.At the same time,in response to the problems of homogenization and uneven design levels in current rural short video production,strategies such as integrating rural characteristics,accurately targeting audiences,and strengthening emotional expression have been proposed,aiming to assist in the effective dissemination of rural culture and the deepening of rural revitalization.
