The improvement of material living standards has put forward higher requirements for the textile and clothing industry,Innovative textile and clothing pattern design has become the key to the development of the industry. This article is based on the development of traditional Chinese patterns,analyzing the common types and forms of expression of traditional Chinese patterns,exploring the design principles and techniques that should be followed when applying traditional Chinese patterns to textile and clothing pattern design,and elaborating on the innovative application of traditional Chinese patterns in textile and clothing pattern design.
