Taishan shadow play,as a national ich project,has attracted the attention of the art circles at home and abroad for its unique art form,but this folk art form,like many ich projects,is facing the predicament of survival and development,how to fully tap the essence of traditional culture in the new situation applied to the current space design is a common concern of the academic community. To combine elements of Taishan shadow play with modern public space for the purpose of cultural inheritance,by means of modeling design and reconstruction,and by blending different forms of modern communication and expression,it is not only a demonstration of the innovative form of Taishan shadow play,also is the public space new artistic form exploration,thus achieves the culture lasting inheritance and the innovation.
