This paper discusses the application of animation image design and visual communication art in the activation of rural culture,taking Chongxian Village as a case,and analyzes how animation art helps the inheritance and modern transformation of traditional culture. The analysis shows that through the deep cultural mining and transformation of creative ideas,technology integration and digital creation,rural community participation and cultural co-creation,the animation image design and visual communication art have successfully transformed the rich cultural heritage of Chongxian Village into a modern art form with educational significance and economic value.
