In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization in China,an increasing number of people have migrated to cities. In order to provide comfortable and reasonable environmental spaces for people,modern environmental art and design are needed. In the process of designers carrying out modern environmental art design around urban space,printing and dyeing art,as an ancient traditional skill,can be applied to modern environmental art design. By inheriting and popularizing printing and dyeing art,new design elements can be added to modern environmental art design. Based on this,this paper first analyzes the characteristics and mutual influence of modern environmental art design and printing and dyeing art,then explores the application value of printing and dyeing art in modern environmental art design,and finally provides corresponding paths for the application of printing and dyeing art in modern environmental art design,in order to provide some reference for relevant personnel.
