With the rapid pace of urban development, numerous cities are facing the gradual erosion and fragmentation of their memories, accompanied by a growing phenomenon of cultural homogenization, leading to the dilemma of "a thousand cities looking alike." In this context, industrial heritage represents a valuable urban memory and a bridge linking industrial civilization with human civilization. Its renovation and reconstruction are crucial issues related to the sustainability of a city's historical context. Taking "urban memory" as the entry point, this study attempts to integrate the elements of industrial memory within cities, seeking a convergence between the two. With industrial heritage as the research focus, this paper explores its spatial design, aiming to unlock its potential spaces, preserve and promote the historical and cultural heritage of cities, and provide beneficial guidance for resolving the contradiction between the renewal of urban industrial heritage and the continuation of urban memory.
