From the perspective of visual graphics,the academic value,cultural value and commercial value of the traditional pattern will be studied. By studying the accumulation of culture and art contained in the traditional pattern,the visual element symbol with the characteristics of the traditional pattern will be extracted and applied to modern poster design,and the application method and application value in modern poster design will be summarized.
