In the era of rapid development of information,it is difficult to meet people's aesthetic and emotional needs for indoor environment by designing indoor space furnishings only from the visual sense,while the five-sense design helps to stimulate people's senses,awaken people's hearts,and bring people better feelings and experiences. Taking "Shanghai Starbucks Zhenxuan Baking Workshop" as an example,this paper discusses the importance of "five-sense design" to the shaping of indoor space furnishings,so as to explore a new idea suitable for the design and creation of modern indoor space furnishings.
