Suzhou embroidery has a long history of development,with distinct regional characteristics and Oriental charm.With its unique embroidery style,it has been widely used in many fields,especially in the application value of clothing design is becoming more and more obvious.Nowadays,many fashion designers have tried to introduce the traditional patterns of Suzhou embroidery into their own design,but the way of integration is too arbitrary and chooses the appropriate patterns of Suzhou embroidery without combining the design theme,resulting in the application value of patterns has not been fully demonstrated.Based on this,this paper explores the artistic characteristics of traditional patterns of Suzhou embroidery,points out the application value of traditional patterns of Suzhou embroidery in modern fashion design,and puts forward the application strategy of traditional patterns of Suzhou embroidery in modern fashion design.
