A Study on the Influence of Bare Feet or Shoes on the First Metatarsophalangeal Joint During Jogging
Twenty healthy male long-distance runners were invited as research subjects. The six-degree-of-freedom kinematic parameters of the first metatarsophalangeal joint were obtained by a double-plane high-speed fluorescence imaging system when the subjects were jogging with bare feet and shoes. After comparison, the differences in the stretching effect of the first metatarsophalangeal joint and the risk of thumb valvaration were obtained. The results showed that compared with naked feet, the first metatarsophalangeal joint extension effect was significantly limited when the subjects were jogging in jogging shoes, and the risk of thumb valgus was higher.
