By exploring the characteristics of contemporary Japanese graphic design and combining the theoretical characteristics of future poetics in speculative design,this paper takes the works of Japanese graphic designer Kenya Hara as an example to further integrate the characteristics of his works.Speculative design,through the imaginative ways of fiction and blank space,enables viewers to have a sense of discontinuity with the works and thus further thinking.The implicit and profound expression of Japanese graphic design is further developed in a speculative perspective,so that the audience can have an understanding in the process of appreciating and appreciating Japanese graphic design aesthetics in a way that can be perceptively redistributed.And then feel the poetic beauty of it.
