In order to cope with the increasingly severe environmental challenges and the sustainable development of ecology,under the background of"green and low-carbon development",the low-carbon strategy in the landscape design of village houses was discussed in depth with the concept of low-carbon environmental protection as the breakthrough point.Therefore,the research focus of this paper is to summarize the low-carbon design strategy in the landscape design of rural residential buildings.In this paper,firstly,the concepts of rural residential landscape and low carbon are deeply understood.Secondly,based on the understanding of basic concepts,practical cases are investigated and relevant theoretical documents are studied,so as to extract low-carbon landscape design strategies from energy-saving design,water-saving design,material environmental protection and vegetation design,so as to provide certain reference for future low-carbon residential landscape.
