Research on Design Strategies of Public Spaces in Residential Areas from the Perspective of Intergenerational Integration
In the context of the aging of the population and the"three-child policy",more and more grandparents are taking on the responsibility of taking care of their grandchildren due to the greater pressure of their work.As the outdoor space with the highest frequency of use by the old and young groups, the outdoor public space design in the residential area is only suitable for the use of a single group, ignoring the interaction between the old and the young, and how to use the outdoor public space in the residential area to provide the elderly and children with a design that promotes intergenerational integration is particularly important.Based on the analysis of the special needs of the elderly and young groups in residential areas, combined with the current situation of public space in built residential areas, this paper puts forward the design strategy of outdoor public space in residential areas to promote intergenerational integration,in order to provide reference for the design of outdoor public space in urban residential areas in China.
