Picture books are the most suitable form of books for children to read.The pictures and words in picture books have a subtle influence on children's development.At present,there are problems in the design of children's picture books in my country,such as lack of attention to children's physical and mental development,wide age classification of children's picture books,insufficient original and high-quality children's picture book design,and lack of rationality in the arrangement of children's picture books.This article analyzes the current status of children's picture books,using literature analysis,case analysis,and field analysis.Based on the theory of cognitive thinking,an in-depth study is conducted on the psychological characteristics and performance behaviors of children at different development stages,and the influencing factors of children's paper picture book design are explored,so as to provide new ideas for the design direction of children's paper picture books.
