After entering the new era,people's living standards are constantly improving,and the demand for the spiritual level is also getting higher and higher.Accordingly,the requirements for talents in the field of architectural design are improved.It has become an important task of higher vocational architectural design education to cultivate architectural design talents with solid design foundation and innovative thinking.However,from the perspective of higher vocational architectural design education,there are still problems such as backward teaching concept,unreasonable curriculum and insufficient arrangement of practical activities,which is extremely unfavorable to the cultivation of students'innovative thinking.Therefore,only by changing the old teaching concept,enhancing the importance to the cultivation of innovative thinking,optimizing the curriculum of architectural design major,and organizing and arranging a variety of practical teaching activities,can the architectural design professionals really needed by the society be cultivated.
