The purpose of this paper is to study the strategy of activity space design based on the psychological needs of rural children.The growing environment of rural children is different from that of urban children,which leads to their unique psychological needs.By analyzing the psychological needs of rural children,this paper proposes a series of strategies for the design of activity venues and activity spaces,including creating a sense of security,establishing a sense of belonging,enhancing interactivity and guaranteeing autonomy.These design strategies not only provide practical guidance for designers and decision makers,but also aim to promote the healthy growth and comprehensive development of rural children by meeting their psychological needs,thereby improving their quality of life and promoting the harmonious progress of society.
