Contemporary Chinese Reflections on Western Marxology
With the great success of Chinese path to modernization,Western Marxology has become a contemporary Chinese problem,so it can only be more thoroughly and fully understood in contemporary China.Most Chinese scholars have reached a Chinese consensus on the definition of Western Marxology.By re-grasping Western Marxology in the contemporary era,we can see that the dual identity of the college and politics makes the occurrence and development of the Western Marxology always in the trend of world history,presenting a complex situation spanning three centuries and five stages.The fundamental purpose of re-examining Western Marxology from the Chinese standpoint is to take this as a reference,strive to create a new situation in the study of Marx and Engels in China,and strive to build China into a new center for the study of Marx and Engels in the world.
