Randomized Controlled Trial of Kuanxiong Aerosol to Improve Quality of Life in Coronary Heart Disease Patients with Angina Pectoris after PCI
Objective To observe the effect of Kuanxiong Aerosol therapy on the clinical efficacy and quality of life of coronary heart disease patients with angina pectoris after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 72 patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease and still had angina pectoris after PCI from December 2022 to September 2023 in Nanfang Hospital were inluded. The patients were randomly assigned to experimental group(36 cases)and control group(36 cases). The control group received routine treatment and the experimental group received sublingual spray of Kuanxiong Aerosol on the basis of routine treatment,2 sprays per time,3 times a day,for 1 continuous month. The scores of Short Form 36 Health Survey Questionaire(SF-36),Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ),and clinical effect of angina pectoris relief between the 2 groups were compared before and after treatment. Results Totally 35 patients in the experimental group and 34 patients in the control group completed the experiment.Compared with before treatment, the frequency of angina attacks and the duration of angina attacks reduced, and the scores of each dimension of SAQ increased after treatment in the 2 groups(P<0.05);the scores of each dimension of SF-36 increased after treatment in the experimental group(P<0.05);the scores of SF-36 RP,BP,GH,RE increased after treatment in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the frequency of angina attacks and the duration of angina attacks in the experimental group decreased, and the scores of SF-36 and SAQ increased after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the curative effect of angina pectoris between the 2 groups(P>0.05),but it has an increasing trend in experimental group. Conclusion Kuanxiong Aerosol could reduce the frequency and duration of of angina pectoris with coronary heart disease after PCI,and improve the quality of life of patients.
