Study on the Compatibility Rules of Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma
Objective To analyze the compatibility rules of Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma with the method of data mining.Methods The patients,prescribed with Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma by Professor Shi Da-zhuo in outpatient clinic,were included.The information such as gender,age,tongue and pulse conditions,diagnoses,and used Chinese herbs were collected,normalized and analyzed.Results Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma was primarily used in the patients with dark red and purplish tongues,swollen tongues,with greasy coatings,and deep or finely deep pulses.The primary diagnose was coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.The main Chinese medicine syndrome was blood stasis in Xin syndrome.The proportion of Rhizoma Coptidis to Curcumae Rhizoma in the decoction was mainly 0.7 and 0.5.Other commonly used Chinese herbs in combination with Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma included Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge,Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Ligusticum chuanxiong hort,and Radix Astragali.Conclusions Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma is mainly used to treat coronary atherosclerotic heart disease with blood stasis syndrome.The proportions of Rhizoma Coptidis-Curcumae Rhizoma may be adjusted based on the severity of blood stasis,heat toxicity,phlegm-dampness,and qi deficiency,and additional herbs for promoting blood circulation,removing blood stasis,clearing heat,tonifying deficiency,and regulating qi may be added accordingly.
