Psychosomatic Abnormalities in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Treatment Strategies of Chinese and Western Medicine
Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a group of chronic non-specific inflammatory diseases with unknown etiology.The incidence of psychological and psychiatric abnormalities in IBD has been on the rise.There is a close association between psychological and psychiatric abnormalities and the onset,progression and prognosis of IBD.Therefore,it is necessary to prioritize and intervene in psychosomatic problems.This paper provides an overview of the latest research on psychological and psychiatric abnormalities in IBD while also exploring the intervention strategies,including Chinese medicine diagnostic and treatment approaches as well as complementary and alternative medicine interventions for IBD,offering valuable insights for clinical practice.
