Application effect of artificial liver support system combined with whole-course nursing in patients with liver cirrhosis
Objective To explore the application effect of artificial liver support system combined with whole-course nursing in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods A total of 126 patients with liver cirrhosis admitted to the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from June 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group(63 cases, artificial liver support system and routine nursing)and an observation group(63 cases, artificial liver support system and whole-course nursing)using a random number table method. After 2 months of intervention, liver function indicators and liver reserve function,as well as quality of life and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After 2 months of intervention, the levels of alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin, and aspartate aminotransferase in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the levels of albumin in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The effective circulation volume of liver, retention rate of indocyanine green in 15 minutes and the model for end-stage liver disease score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the score of quality of life and the satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The above indicators and scores of both groups were better than those before intervention(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of artificial liver support system combined with whole-course nursing in patients with liver cirrhosis can improve their liver function indicators and liver reserve function, and enhance their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
