Application effect of internet plus family empowerment model nursing in patients with heart failure
Objective To explore the implementation effect of internet plus family empowerment model nursing in cardiac rehabilitation of patients with heart failure. Methods Seventy patients with heart failure admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into two groups using a lottery method, namely the control group and the intervention group, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the intervention group received internet plus family empowerment model nursing.Medication compliance, cardiac function index levels, cardiogenic readmission rate, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results At the first, third, and sixth month after discharge, the Frankl Compliance Scale scores of both groups increased compared to discharge, and the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire scores of both groups decreased compared to discharge(all P<0.05),and the above scores were better in the intervention group than in the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).At the first, third, and sixth months after discharge, the left ventricular ejection fraction,six-minute walking test distance, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter, and N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide precursor levels in both groups were better than those at discharge(all P<0.05),and the above indicators were better in the intervention group than in the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).At the first, third, and sixth months after discharge, the cardiogenic readmission rates in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).Conclusion Internet plus family empowerment model nursing can improve the medication compliance and quality of life of patients with heart failure, improve their cardiac function indicators, and reduce the cardiogenic readmission rate.
