Application of continuous nursing based on WeChat platform in patients undergoing transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt
Objective To carry out continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform for liver cirrhosis patients with portal hypertension treated by transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS),and observe the effect of this nursing model on the rehabilitation of patients. Methods A total of 110 liver cirrhosis patients with portal hypertension who underwent TIPS at Renji Hospital,Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from January to December 2021 were included in the study, and were divided into control and observation groups through random number table method, each with 55 cases. The control group received routine nursing of TIPS,and the observation group received continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform. The postoperative liver function and other indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).At 6 months after discharge, the score of the Primary Biliary Cholangitis-40 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the total compliance rate of healthcare compliance behavior was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).At 3 and 6 months after discharge, the levels of aspartate transaminase and total bilirubin in the observation group were better than those in the control group(all P<0.05).At 6 months after discharge, the levels of cholinesterase and alanine transaminase in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(both P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform for liver cirrhosis patients with portal hypertension undergoing TIPS is conducive to the improvement of postoperative liver function, healthcare compliance, and quality of life of patients, and can reduce the occurrence of complications.
