Application of targeted nursing based on target strategy in patients with bladder spasms after transurethral resection of prostate
Objective To explore the application effect of targeted nursing based on target strategy in patients with bladder spasms after transurethral resection of prostate(TURP).Methods The data of 108 patients with bladder spasms after TURP at Union Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology from March 2020 to September 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into an observation group(54 cases)and a control group(54 cases)according to different nursing modes. The control group received routine postoperative nursing, and the observation group received targeted nursing based on target strategy. The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score,Patient Perception of Bladder Condition(PPBC)scale score, initial bladder volume, maximum urine flow rate, frequency and duration of bladder spasms were compared between the two groups. Results The time of extubation after operation in the observation group was earlier than that in the control group, and the incidence of urinary retention and incontinence after extubation in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(all P<0.05).After 2 weeks and 1 month of intervention, the VAS scores and PPBC scores of both groups were lower than those on the postoperative day,and the initial bladder volume and maximum urine flow rate were higher than those on the postoperative day(all P<0.05).The VAS score and PPBC score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group during the same period, and the initial bladder volume and maximum urine flow rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).On the 3rd and 5th day after surgery, the frequency of bladder spasms in both groups was lower than that on the postoperative day,and the average time of spasms was shorter than that on the postoperative day(all P<0.05).The frequency of bladder spasms in the observation group was lower than that in the control group during the same period, and the average time of spasms in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted nursing based on target strategy can effectively alleviate bladder spasm symptoms and pain in patients with bladder spasms after TURP surgery, and promote the recovery of bladder function.
