Effect of feedback health education combined with refined diet care on the nutritional status of patients with liver cirrhosis
Objective To explore the effect of feedback health education combined with refined diet care on improving the nutritional status of patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods A total of 92 patients with liver cirrhosis who were admitted to the Fujian Provincial Hospital South Branch from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group(46 cases)received routine health education, while the observation group(46 cases)received feedback health education combined with refined diet care based on the intervention method of the control group. The liver function, nutritional status, and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results After 1 and 3 months of intervention, the levels of alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin, and aspartate aminotransferase in the observation group were lower than those in the control group during the same period. The levels of hemoglobin, prealbumin, albumin, total albumin, and the scores of Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(physical function and social function, etc.)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).The above indicators and scores of both groups were better than those before intervention(all P<0.05).Conclusion Feedback health education combined with refined diet care can improve the liver function and nutritional status of patients with liver cirrhosis, and enhance their quality of life.
