Application of cluster nursing combined with Kuntujianzhong therapy in preventing nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy
Objective To explore the effect of using cluster nursing combined with Kuntujianzhong therapy in the prevention of nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy. Methods This study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2022.A total of 120 chemotherapy cases from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine were collected. They were grouped according to the odd and even number method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received cluster nursing+tropisetron+simulator intervention, while the observation group received cluster nursing+tropisetron+Kuntujianzhong therapy intervention. The effective rate of treatment, incidence of nausea and vomiting,Karnofsky score, and liver and kidney function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment and Karnofsky score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(both P<0.05).The incidence of nausea and vomiting in the observation group was lower than that in the control group on the 1st to 5 th day and 7 th day after chemotherapy(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alpha fetoprotein, and total bilirubin between the observation group and the control group before and 3 months after chemotherapy(all P>0.05).Conclusion The implementation of cluster nursing combined with Kuntujianzhong therapy can effectively prevent nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy, with good therapeutic effects, and the liver and kidney function indexes and physical strength of patients are both well after nursing.
