Effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing guided by the concept of medical-nursing combination on the recovery of patients after hip replacement
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing guided by the concept of medical-nursing combination on the hip function recovery and complications of patients after hip replacement.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 102 patients undergoing hip replacement at Jiangsu Shuyang Hospital of TCM from May 2020 to May 2022.According to different nursing methods,they were assigned into control and observation groups,each with 51 cases.The nursing method of the control group was routine nursing,and the nursing method of the observation group was traditional Chinese medicine nursing guided by the concept of medical-nursing combination.The hip function,psychological state,and complications of the two groups were compared.Results There were no significant differences in the Harris Hip Scores between the two groups before nursing(all P>0.05).After 1 and 3 months of nursing,the Harris Hip Scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05).Before nursing,there were no significant differences in the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores between the two groups(both P>0.05).After 1 and 3 months of nursing,the SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The overall complication rate of the observation group was 3.92%,which was lower than 19.61%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine nursing guided by the concept of medical-nursing combination can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of patients undergoing hip replacement,reduce the risk of complications,and improve the hip function.
