Application effect of family-centered care model based on WeChat platform in children with anorexia
Objective To explore the application effect of family-centered care(FCC)model based on WeChat platform in children with anorexia. Methods According to different intervention methods,118 children with anorexia who received treatment at the Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to July 2023 were divided into two groups, with 59 cases in each group. The final control group had 5 cases of dropout and completed 54 cases, while the intervention group had 6 cases of dropout and completed 53 cases. The control group received routine treatment and nursing, while the intervention group implemented a family-centered care model based on WeChat platform on the basis of the intervention method in the control group. The intervention period was 4 weeks. The intervention effect of the two groups was compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment was 98.11%(52/53)in the intervention group and 85.19%(46/54)in the control group.Compared between the two groups, the intervention group had a higher effective rate of treatment(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of intervention, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of both groups of children decreased compared to before intervention, and their food intake increased compared to before intervention. The scores of Identification and Management of Feeding Difficulties scale increased.Compared with the control group, the above indicators in the intervention group were all better, with statistical differences(all P<0.05).Conclusion The FCC model based on WeChat platform for children with anorexia can effectively improve their treatment effectiveness, improve their unhealthy dietary behavior, increase their food intake, and alleviate clinical symptoms.
