Application value of multimodal stratified psychological intervention combined with staged situational simulation education in primiparas
Objective To explore the application value of multimodal stratified psychological intervention combined with staged situational simulation education in primiparas. Methods A total of 182 primiparas who gave birth at Yancheng No.1 People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province from July 2020 to October 2022 were enrolled. They were assigned into either the control group(91 cases)or the observation group(91 cases)by random number table method. The control group received routine health education and pregnancy care, and the observation group received multimodal stratified psychological intervention combined with staged situational simulation education on the basis of the control group. The delivery outcomes and other indicators were compared between the two groups. Results Before delivery and at 24 h postpartum, the scores of the Childbirth Attitude Questionnaire and the Self-Rating Anxiety and Depression Scale in both groups were significantly lower than those at admission, and the scores of outcome expectancies and delivery self-efficacy expectancies were significantly higher than those at admission(all P<0.05).The observation group was significantly better than the control group on the corresponding period(all P<0.05).The natural delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group. The blood loss within 2 h postpartum was less than that of the control group. The total stage of labor was shorter than that of the control group. The 1-min Apgar score was higher than that of the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The multimodal stratified psychological intervention combined with staged situational simulation education can alleviate the anxiety, depression, and fear of delivery in primiparas, enhance their self-efficacy in delivery, and significantly improve the delivery outcomes.
