Application of high-quality perioperative nursing in da Vinci robot assisted radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer
Objective To explore the application value of high-quality perioperative nursing in patients undergoing da Vinci robot assisted radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer. Methods A total of 90 prostate cancer patients who underwent minimally invasive surgery with da Vinci robots at the Yancheng No.1 People's Hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were included in the study.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into a control group(39 cases, conventional nursing)and an observation group(51 cases,high-quality perioperative nursing). The surgical related indicators, postoperative recovery, and quality of life of the two groups were compared, and the postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had shorter surgical time, drainage tube retention time, and hospital stay compared to the control group, and the observation group had less intraoperative bleeding compared to the control group. The observation group had earlier anal exhaust time, ambulation time, and urinary catheter removal time than the control group(all P<0.05).The Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOLI-74)scores of the observation group were higher in all dimensions before discharge compared to the control group(all P<0.05),and the above scores of both groups were also higher than those before surgery(all P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the overall satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(both P<0.05).Conclusion The use of high-quality perioperative nursing strategies in patients undergoing da Vinci robot assisted radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer is of great significance in shortening surgical time, reducing intraoperative bleeding, promoting postoperative recovery, improving nursing satisfaction and quality of life, and reducing the incidence of complications.
