Impact of refined diet nursing combined with emotional nursing on the postoperative rehabilitation effect of esophageal cancer patients
Objective To explore the impact of refined diet nursing combined with emotional nursing on the postoperative rehabilitation effect of esophageal cancer patients. Methods The study subjects were 80 patients who underwent esophageal cancer radical surgery at Renji Hospital,Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine from January to October 2022.They were grouped using a random number table method.Among them,40 patients in the control group received routine nursing, while 40 patients in the observation group received refined diet nursing combined with emotional nursing. The nutritional status, gastrointestinal function recovery, and hope levels of the two groups were compared. Results At discharge and one month after discharge, the levels of total protein, albumin, and hemoglobin in both groups increased compared to the same group at admission(all P<0.05).The scores of all dimensions and total scores of the Herth Hope Index in both groups also increased compared with those in the same group at admission(all P<0.05),and the above indicators and scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group had earlier recovery time of bowel sounds, first eating time, first exhaust time, and first defecation time(all P<0.05),and lower overall incidence of postoperative complications(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of refined diet nursing and emotional nursing can improve the nutritional status of patients, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, increase their hope level, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
