Application effect of cluster nursing strategy in the peri-extubation period of neurocritical patients with tracheal intubation
Objective To explore the application effect of cluster nursing strategy in the peri-extubation period of neurocritical patients with tracheal intubation. Methods Eighty-three patients admitted to the neurocritical care unit(NCU)of General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January to December 2021 were included in the control group, and 120 patients admitted from January to December 2022 were included in the study group.During the peri-extubation period, the control group and the study group received conventional nursing and cluster nursing strategy, respectively. The success rate of extubation, recovery time, and incidence of adverse reactions after extubation were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of extubation in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the total incidence of adverse reactions after extubation was lower than that in the control group(both P<0.05).The time of ventilation function improvement in the study group was earlier than that in the control group, and the duration of mechanical ventilation, time from intubation to extubation,NCU length of stay, and total length of hospital stay were all shorter than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of cluster nursing strategy in the peri-extubation period of NCU patients can improve the success rate of extubation, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions after extubation, and shorten the recovery time.
