Application value of preoperative targeted psychological intervention combined with intraoperative thermal insulation strategy in surgical patients undergoing general anesthesia
Objective To analyze the application effect of preoperative targeted psychological intervention combined with intraoperative thermal insulation strategy in surgical patients undergoing general anesthesia. Methods A total of 116 surgical patients who planned to undergo general anesthesia at Zhongda Hospital Southeast University from March 2020 to March 2023 were enrolled and divided into an observation group(58 cases)and a control group(58 cases)through simple randomization. Both groups received comprehensive perioperative nursing and intraoperative thermal insulation, while the observation group additionally received preoperative targeted psychological intervention. The anesthesia recovery state, body temperature changes, psychological state, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had shorter wake up time after anesthesia, time to extubation, residence time in the anesthesia recovery room, and duration of anesthetic action(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the surgical time between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower body temperature at 5 min after anesthesia and at the beginning of surgery, and higher body temperature when leaving the operating room(all P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in body temperature between the two groups at 1 day before surgery, when entering the operating room, and at 40 and 80 min after surgery(all P>0.05).The scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety and Depression Scale(SAS and SDS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at 1 day before surgery, and both groups had lower scores compared with enrollment, with statistical differences(all P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Preoperative targeted psychological intervention combined with intraoperative thermal insulation strategy can help surgical patients undergoing general anesthesia maintain stable intraoperative body temperature, shorten the anesthesia recovery time, improve the preoperative psychological state, and reduce the incidence of complications.
