Effect of early warning nursing based on risk management concept on postoperative rehabilitation of breast cancer patients
Objective To explore the value of early warning nursing based on risk management concept in the postoperative rehabilitation and prevention of complications of breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 180 patients with breast cancer who were admitted to Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from February 2021 to February 2023 were grouped by random number table method. Both groups contained 90 patients. All patients were treated with radical mastectomy. The control group received routine nursing after surgery, and the observation group received early warning nursing based on risk management concept after surgery. The rehabilitation status, quality of life scores, inflammatory status, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical rehabilitation indicators of the observation group were superior to those of the control group(all P<0.05).After 1 month of nursing, the quality of life scores of both groups were higher than those before nursing, and the results of various inflammatory indicators were lower than those before nursing(all P<0.05).Moreover,the above scores and indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The incidences of subcutaneous hydrops, limb edema, and incision infections in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of early warning nursing based on risk management concept after breast cancer surgery can speed up the rehabilitation of patients, enhance the rehabilitation effect, improve the quality of life and inflammatory status, prevent the occurrence of various surgical complications, and create a favorable environment for the continuous recovery of patients.
