Effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing strategy based on rapid rehabilitation concept on postoperative rehabilitation quality of ovarian cancer patients
Objective To explore the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing strategy based on rapid rehabilitation concept on the postoperative rehabilitation quality of ovarian cancer patients. Methods A total of 112 ovarian cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment were enrolled from Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology between July 2020 and July 2022.According to random number table method, they were divided into two groups, with 56 cases in the control group(routine nursing)and 56 cases in the observation group(traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing strategy based on rapid rehabilitation concept). The postoperative pain relief, postoperative recovery status,Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOLI-74)scores,and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had lower Visual Analogue Scale scores than the control group at 6 h,12 h,24 h,48 h,and 5 days after surgery(all P<0.05).The gastrointestinal function recovery time, first exhaust time, first defecation time, food intake time, and ambulation time in the observation group were all earlier than those in the control group(all P<0.05).At 1 and 3 months after surgery, the three item scores of the GQOLI-74 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05),and both groups had higher scores than those before surgery(all P<0.05).The observation group had a lower total complication rate than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing strategy based on rapid rehabilitation concept in the postoperative rehabilitation of ovarian cancer patients can effectively reduce the postoperative pain, promote the recovery, improve the quality of life, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
