Application effect of empowerment education combined with refined nursing in the rehabilitation nursing of pelvic fracture patients
Objective To explore the application effect of empowerment education combined with refined nursing in the rehabilitation nursing of pelvic fracture patients. Methods From April 2020 to September 2023,86 patients with pelvic fractures were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 43 patients in each group. All of these patients underwent surgical treatment at Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing, while the observation group received empowerment education combined with refined nursing based on routine rehabilitation nursing. The recovery time,self-management ability, incidence of complications, postoperative recovery, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the fracture healing time and first mobilization time of the observation group were earlier than those of the control group(all P<0.05).After 4 weeks of nursing, the scores of Exercise of Self-Care Agency scale in both groups were higher than those at admission(both P<0.05),and the scores were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications between the two groups was found to be lower in the observation group(P<0.05).At three months after surgery, the postoperative recovery score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of nursing between the two groups was found to be higher in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with pelvic fractures who receive empowerment education combined with refined nursing during the perioperative period can improve their self-care ability and nursing satisfaction, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote postoperative recovery.
