Application effect of targeted psychological intervention and standardized pain nursing in postoperative patients with gastric cancer
Objective To explore the intervention effect of targeted psychological intervention combined with standardized pain nursing for postoperative patients with gastric cancer. Methods A total of 160 gastric cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from February 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the drawing method, with 80 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given targeted psychological intervention on the basis of conventional care, and the patients in the observation group were given standardized pain nursing on the basis of conventional care and targeted psychological intervention. The pain status, gastrointestinal function recovery, sleep quality and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the Visual Analogue Scale scores between the two groups at 24 hours after surgery(P>0.05).After 3 days of surgery and 1 month of intervention, compared with the control group at the same time, the above scores were lower in the observation group(both P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group had earlier postoperative first exhaust time and bowel sounds recovery time(both P<0.05).After one month of intervention, compared with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the scores of various dimensions in the Quality of Life Questionnaire of Stomach Cancer scale in the control group, the observation group had lower scores(all P<0.05),and the above scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention(all P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted psychological intervention combined with standardized pain management for postoperative patients with gastric cancer can reduce the degree of pain, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, and improve their sleep and quality of life.
