Application effect of Roy's adaptation model nursing combined with psychological intervention in sepsis patients in intensive care unit
Objective To explore the application effect of Roy's adaptation model nursing combined with psychological intervention in sepsis patients in the intensive care unit(ICU).Methods From March 2021 to March 2023,80 sepsis patients admitted to the ICU of Zhongshan City People's Hospital were randomly divided into a control group(40 cases, routine nursing combined with psychological intervention)and an observation group(40 cases, routine nursing+psychological intervention+Roy's adaptation model nursing)according to a random number table method, and the nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results After 3 and 7 days of nursing, the oxygenation index values(oxygen saturation, arterial partial pressure of oxygen and oxygenation index)and blood electrolyte levels(kalium ion, calcium ion, sodium ion and chloride ion)of the two groups were better than those at the time of admission to the ICU,and the urine output of both groups was more than that at admission to the ICU.The fasting blood glucose levels and the psychological state scores(Hamilton Depression Rating Scale and Hamilton Anxiety Scale)of both groups were lower than those at admission to the ICU(all P<0.05),and the above indicators and scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group during the same period(all P<0.05).Conclusion Roy's adaptation model nursing combined with psychological intervention can improve patients'oxygenation indexes, urine output, and psychological status, correct their blood electrolyte levels, and stabilize their blood glucose levels.
