Formulation and application effect of refined nursing plan for gestational diabetes mellitus patients during pregnancy
Objective To formulate the refined nursing plan for gestational diabetes mellitus patients during pregnancy and explore its clinical application effect. Methods Ninety-six patients with gestational diabetes mellitus who received prenatal examination and delivery at the Fourth People's Hospital of Zhenjiang from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as research subjects and divided into two groups by random drawing method.Forty-eight patients in the control group received routine nursing during pregnancy, and forty-eight patients in the observation group received a refined nursing plan based on the nursing measures of the control group during pregnancy. The blood glucose levels,self-management behavior, and incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results After three months of intervention, the levels of blood glucose related indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of all dimensions of the Diabetes self-Care Scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The above indicators and scores of both groups were better than those at the time of initial diagnosis(all P<0.05).The overall incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(both P<0.05).Conclusion The refined nursing plan for gestational diabetes mellitus patients can effectively control the blood glucose level, prevent adverse maternal and infant outcomes, and help develop self-management behavior.
