The application effect of rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing in patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after ischemic stroke
Objective To explore the application effect of rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing in patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after ischemic stroke. Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 90 patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after ischemic stroke admitted to Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from March 2022 to March 2023.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing. The daily living ability, upper limb motor function, degree of hand swelling, hand function, degree of pain and effective rate of the two groups were compared. Results After 7 days of nursing and 1 month of nursing, the modified Barthel index,Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)upper limb function score, and Simple Test for Evaluating Hand Function(STEF)score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The degree of swelling of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(all P<0.05),and the above scores of both groups were better than those before nursing(all P<0.05).After 1 month of nursing, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores for flexion, abduction, external rotation and internal rotation pain in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05),and the scores in both groups decreased compared to before nursing(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing in the clinical nursing of patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after ischemic stroke can effectively improve their upper limb motor function and hand function, reduce the degree of hand swelling and pain, and improve their daily living ability and efficiency.
