Application of evidence-based nursing combined with acupoint application in postoperative care of suppurative appendicitis undergoing laparoscopic surgery
Objective To explore the clinical effect of evidence-based nursing combined with acupoint application in patients with suppurative appendicitis after laparoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 80 patients with suppurative appendicitis admitted to the Comprehensive Department of Funeng Group General Hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random envelope method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received evidence-based nursing,while the observation group received acupoint application intervention based on the control group's method.The intervention period was from the end of the patient's surgery to discharge.The clinical efficacy,inflammatory reaction before and after 3 days of intervention,postoperative recovery,and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group.The duration of postoperative abdominal distension of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group.The recovery time of bowel sounds,first exhaust time,and first defecation time of the observation group were all earlier than those of the control group.The total incidence of complications of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(all P<0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-6,white blood cell count,and neutrophil count between the two groups(all P>0.05).After 3 days of intervention,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6,white blood cell count,and neutrophil count in both groups were significantly reduced compared to before intervention(all P<0.05),and were lower in the observation group than in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of evidence-based nursing and acupoint application in the postoperative care of patients with suppurative appendicitis after laparoscopic surgery can significantly improve the clinical efficacy,reduce inflammatory reaction,reduce the incidence of complications,and accelerate postoperative recovery.
