Clinical Study on Modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of modified Duhuo Jisheng decoction in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A total of 126 patients with RA were randomly divided into the control group and the trial group,with 63 cases in each group.Three cases were withdrew in each group,and ultimately 60 cases were included each.The control group was treated with methotrexate,while the trial group was treated with modi-fied Duhuo Jisheng decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for three months.The to-tal clinical effective rate,pain scores,life ability scores,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and levels of inflammatory factors were compared in the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the trial group was 93.33％,which was higher than the 80.00％of the control group(P＜0.05).The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of pain,health assessment questionnaire(HAQ)scores and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were all lower than those before treatment(all P＜0.05),and the above indicators in the trial group were all lower than those in the control group(all P＜0.05).The levels of inflammatory factors such as C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were all decreased compared to those before treatment(all P＜0.05),and the above indicators in the trial group were all lower than the control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of modified Duhuo Jisheng decoction in the treatment of RA could improve clinical efficacy,alleviate pain symptoms,improve traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,en-hance daily living abilities,and reduce levels of inflammatory factors,which is worth promoting.
