Evaluation on Fiscal Investment Efficiency of Higher Vocational Education in China
China's Higher Vocational Education(HVE)has entered a new period of high-quality development whose basic requirement is to achieve high efficiency of fiscal investment.Based on the provincial panel data of HVE in China from 2013 to 2020,we use DEA-BCC model and Malmquist index three-way method to evaluate the efficiency of fiscal investment in HVE of China to find that the fiscal investment of HVE in most provinces is in DEA invalid state, and the decline in TFP efficiency of fiscal investment in HVE is mainly due to the decline in the efficiency of technological progress. The analysis results show that HVE in China is still in the stage of extensive development with a large gap from the requirement of high-quality.Improving the performance level of education funds, reforming the structural system of HVE,improving the quality of talent training, cultivating high-level skilled talents, and serving the all-round and high-quality development of society are the current direction of the reform of HVE in China.
