Dilemmas and Breakthroughs in Vocational Education Teachers'Digital Skills Enhancement from the Perspective of International Organizations
The effective enhancement of digital skills among vocational education teachers is a crucial factor in assessing the digital transformation of vocational education.Based on research conducted by United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization,Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development,International Labour Organization,the World Bank,the European Union,and other international organizations and institutions,it can be concluded that insufficient policy support,inadequate driving mechanisms,low skill requirements,weak digital environments are key factors influencing the development of digital skills among vocational education teachers.Additionally,challenges in upgrading their digital skills include poor layout of digital infrastructure,lack of necessary understanding and support as well as subjective intervention from private sectors.Therefore,it is imperative to intervene through proactive development strategies and passive promotion approaches such as formulating top-level strategies to address practical issues;enhancing skill requirements;creating an inclusive environment;improving facility construction;providing special care;encouraging multi-party collaboration.These breakthrough paths will comprehensively enhance the digital skills of vocational education teachers.
