Coordinated Development of Northwest Secondary Vocational Education and Rural Revitalization:Spatiotemporal Characteristics and Driving Factors
The coordinated development of secondary vocational education and rural revitalization is a key measure to stimulate the endogenous power of rural areas.Based on the panel data of five provinces(autonomous regions)in northwest China from 2011-2021,a comprehensive evaluation index system of secondary vocational education and rural revitalization was constructed. The relationship between the coordination of the two systems was quantitatively measured by using entropy method, comprehensive evaluation model, coupling coordination model, trend analysis method and geographical detectors.Research results show that the comprehensive development level of secondary vocational education and rural revitalization in the northwest region shows an increasing trend and has a spatial layout characteristic of"low in the west and high in the east, high in the south and low in the north";the degree of coupling and coordination has been increasing year by year, and the mutual promotion of coordination has become increasingly significant, which is influenced by multiple factors such as the level of economic development and the degree of openness to the outside world.Based on this,it is proposed that to promote the inter-regional coordinated development of secondary vocational education and rural revitalization in northwest China,it is necessary to reform the education model to realize the matching of supply and demand;to promote an innovative atmosphere to attract talents to return;and to give full play to the advantages of the region to explore the value of the countryside.
