How Moderately"Lying Down"is Important after Work for Higher Vocational College Teachers?——A Multiple Chain Mediation Study on the Influence of Psychological Detachment on Turnover Intention
In the context of building a skills-based society, establishing a well-structured,professional,part-time,and relatively stable teaching team is crucial for promoting the high-quality development of higher vocational education.Based on the resources conservation theory and job demands-resources model, this study constructs a multiple chain mediation model to deeply explore the internal mechanisms involving psychological detachment, career expectations, career self-efficacy,job burnout, and turnover intention among higher vocational college teachers.Through a survey of 5512 higher vocational college teachers,it is found that a certain degree of psychological detachment can effectively mitigate the occurrence of turnover behavior among these teachers. The impact of career self-efficacy on turnover intention is not significant.Psychological detachment affects teachers'turnover intention through the multiple chain mediation effects of career expectations, career self-efficacy,and job burnout. Therefore, constructing an external incentive and internal psychological coordination mechanism helps teachers conserve physical and mental resources, thereby alleviating the tendency of vocational college teachers to leave their jobs.
