The French technological and vocational baccalaureates offer valuable insights and references for the construction of a vocational education college entrance examination system in China.The technological baccalaureate is structured around broader specialty categories,with exam subjects designed to emphasize the study and application of knowledge in the fields of science and engineering.The examination encompasses written tests,oral assessments and practical evaluations.On the other hand,the vocational baccalaureate is divided into more specialized professions,focusing on the cultivation and formation of occupational skills.France has established a standardized operating mechanism for these two vocational education baccalaureates,emphasizing the continuous evolution of examination content and implementing a seamless integration of academic and vocational education.These baccalaureates play a crucial role in nurturing technical and skilled talent.Drawing lessons from the French experience,China can consider developing its own vocational education baccalaureate system with Chinese characteristics.This could involve creating a unified framework for vocational education baccalaureate exams,designing relevant examination contents,and establishing a diversified admission mechanism,all tailored to the specific needs of China's vocational education landscape.
